We are Midwest-born and raised (Jeff from Michigan/Indiana and Halle from Ohio), where we both started our working lives bagging groceries. We met in early 2007 in San Francisco, where we lived for nine years before moving to NYC. We married in Italy in 2012!
Jeff Hammerbacher is a Founder and General Partner at Related Sciences, an angel investor, and a board member at Ciox and Cytel. Previously, Jeff was an Assistant Professor at Mount Sinai, a founder and Chief Scientist of Cloudera, an Entrepreneur in Residence at Accel Partners, manager of the Data team at Facebook, and a fixed income quant at Bear Stearns.
He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from Harvard University.
Halle Tecco is an entrepreneur, angel investor, and the host of The Heart of Healthcare podcast. She is the co-founder of Rock Health, Cofertility, and Natalist (which was acquired by Everly Health). She is also an Adjunct Professor at Columbia Business School, teaching the first MBA-level course on digital health investing.
Halle is an Advisor to the Harvard Medical School Department of Biomedical Informatics and Boston Children's Hospital, and serves on the Board of Directors at Resolve and the International African American Museum.
Halle has an MPH from Johns Hopkins University, an MBA from Harvard Business School, and a BS from Case Western Reserve University.
